visited a primary school teacher today. it's been about a year or perhaps more than a year since i last took time off to visit her. she's one teacher whom i really respect. inspired and impacted my life in more ways than i can remember. i thank God for placing her in my life. how my path crossed with hers. how i landed up in class 6B instead of 6A. in fact, i visited her in October last year but the clerk told me that she's very sick and is on medical leave. went again earlier this year but she wasnt around. apparently she went out for a meeting. i'm glad to see her today. she told me that she was struck by cancer late last year. after the doc broke the news to my teacher, the impact wasnt full blown until when she was at the taxi stand at the hospital. the immediate question was, "Why Me??!!".
life is fragile, aint it? you will never know when you will be hit by a car or when you'll be struck by a deadly disease. before you know it, you'll be standing in front of your creator. i guess if i were to go now, i'll leave with many regrets. many. there are many things i wanna do but not done, many words unsaid. how easy is it to say "live your everyday as if it's the last day you have on earth". if it's my last day on earth, i definitely would NOT want to spend my time in a lecture theater, trying to comprehend the concept of Einstein's theory of relativity or worst still, computer programming. what is the value of these knowlege of these concepts anyway?
foreigner on earth.....i wanna go Home. but yet, i'm just not ready to go, not yet at least. but is it really for me to decide when it's time for me to go?
to those who question what their purpose is on earth, the answer lies with your creator. it's the same concept as... the "inventor" knows exactly the purpose for his "invention". seek Him and you WILL find the answer.
"Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be open unto you." :)
